Investment Banking Associates

Lexington Park Group is seeking investment banking associates to join Lexington Park Capital Markets in New York or Orlando.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

  • The Associate must have a minimum of 5 years investment banking, private equity, principal investments, strategic consult ing or investment management experience. 
  • The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker, with strong written and verbal communication skills, good organiza tional skills with ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail. 
  • Strong financial modeling capability is required. 
  • Associate will be involved in extensive due diligence and other meetings with senior management of public and private companies. 
  • In addition, the candidate will:
    • Design and prepare key transaction materials including valuation analyses, detailed investment committee memoran da, and other presentations 
    • Be a member of the due diligence team 
    • Conduct industry studies 
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an Ivy League or comparable university is required and an MBA from a top five US school is preferred.

Vice President – Distribution 

The Vice President-Distribution will market and distribute products to the financial advisor and registered investment advisor industry.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Create new and manage existing relationships with RIA’s, family offices, trust companies, research departments, and re gional wire houses 
  • Initiate phone calls, cultivate new leads, set up meetings, and lead sales meetings 
  • Attend associated industry events 
  • Provide technical information, including a strong knowledge of the competitive landscape

Real Estate – Commercial Agents

Lexington Park Real Estate is seeking commercial real estate professionals in Florida. These individuals should be able to work both as buyers’ and sellers’ agents as need be. They will source and place commercial real estate – including hospitality, office buildings, industrial developments, retail centers and land for new developments.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Sourcing and listing commercial real estate properties in Central and Northern Florida 
  • Appraise property or properties using local comparisons 
  • Provide financial information and analytical data to the potential buyer or seller. 
  • Visit and show several sites and explain features of building 
  • Discuss costs of maintaining building and possible renovations with client 
  • Determine best method of purchase and review financials
  • Seek out acquisition targets and grow book of leads 
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare redevelopment plans 
  • Create relationships with businesses in various industries for future purchases 
  • Place properties for sale 
  • Have all properties inspected thoroughly and identify possible repairs 
  • Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers over property prices and settlement details, and during the closing of sales 
  • Compare properties with similar properties to determine fair market price 
  • Work with loan officers, attorneys, and agencies to complete purchase 
  • Arrange for financing if needed

Senior Advisor 

Lexington Park is actively seeking senior industry professionals with strong industry/ sector expertise in our focus industries. As an extension of the team, they will be called upon, from time to time to help the firm and its clients to:

  • Provide expertise in an area of thematic interest to the firm 
  • Bring strategic expertise and give guidance and advice to the firm, it’s clients and transactions 
  • Provide expertise in navigating the legal, regulatory, and other industry specific challenges 
  • Serve as an extension of the team and utilize their network of contacts/ relationships in all aspects of the transaction sourcing, due diligence, and execution process 
  • Serve as an advisor to existing clients, including sitting in on board meetings or providing one-on-one mentoring/advising for existing portfolio Identify promising companies or technologies including targets/ companies for roll-ups and dis tressed/ turnaround situations 
  • Provide startup experience to the firm’s clients seeking to build a new venture or explore a spin-out or management led buyout 
    • Vet various startup ideas, find a co-founder, do market research on the space, put together a pitch deck, or write a business plan for a new venture etc. 
    • Help craft an investable thesis, handle all of the foundational issues (corporate form, licensing the technology, setting up an option pool, recruiting the team, negotiating the seed round, etc.) and develop the business model
